01 What they come home with

Not a certificate.
A membership.

  1. A number for life.Engraved on the enamel pin, with their signature in the Register.
  2. Their address, on film.Ninety seconds, given in black tie at the gala, cut by a professional editor within 48 hours.
  3. Twenty portraits.Edited professional portraits, including the gala portrait, and the framed class photograph shipped to the house.
  4. A published resolution.The adopted General Assembly text, with its authors' names, citable on a university application.
  5. A signed letter.From the chair, with awards and distinctions named where earned.
  6. The directory.Sixty portraits, schools, countries, and one line each on what they are building.
  7. Nine skills, used for real.The formal table, the conversation, the room, the negotiation, the handwritten note.
  8. A place for life.A mentor call three months later, one nomination a year, and the annual dinner every year afterwards.

02 Supervision and safety

Sixty students. One roof.
Every hour.

Most Fellows are under eighteen. The four days are built for that, and nothing on this page is negotiable.

  1. Transfers.A chauffeur holding your child's name at JFK, Newark or LaGuardia, and back again on the Sunday. Nobody takes a taxi. Between the hotel, the United Nations and the heliport, the class moves together with staff.
  2. The flight.Part of the Delegate, Excellency tier. A standard doors-on sightseeing flight with a licensed New York operator, five Fellows and a chaperone per aircraft, with your signed consent. If weather grounds it, a substitute is provided. Fellows who would rather not fly do not have to.
  3. Consent and medical.Every family signs consent for the transfers and photography, and for the flight and the limousine tour on the Excellency tier, and completes a medical and dietary form in March. Insurance that covers travel and cancellation is required, and we will tell you what to look for.

04 What it costs, and why

Everything,
from the airport.

Both tiers include everything from the moment a driver holds up your child's name at the airport: three nights at a five-star hotel in Manhattan, every meal, every session, the United Nations, the gala, the kit, the portraits and the film, and Global Sixty membership for life.

Everything, plus a private room, the speakers' dinner, priority in the chamber, and one seat for you at the gala.

Delegate, Excellency
$4,999

Everything in Private, plus the helicopter flight, a limousine tour of New York by night, a private car with a named driver at each end, the head table at the gala with two seats for you, first choice of country, and breakfast with the founder and the guest speakers.

There is no cheaper tier. If you would prefer a schedule of payments rather than one payment, reply to the offer and we will discuss it. Flights, visas, insurance and personal spending are not included. Before any family confirms a seat, the founder speaks with them for twenty minutes, and the hotel is named to you before payment is due.

05 Parents ask

The questions we
hear most.

Can I come to New York?

Yes, and many parents do. The Thursday reception and the Friday dinners are for Fellows and guest speakers only; that is deliberate, because the class forms fastest without parents in the room. The Saturday gala includes one parent seat for every Delegate, Private Fellow. You will have a 24-hour number and a daily update whether you are in the city or at home.

My child has never done Model UN. Is that a problem?

No. A meaningful share of every class is first-time delegates, and Fellows are chosen on motivation, seriousness and the interview. Each masterclass is taught once and used the same day, so by the time the General Assembly opens on Friday they have already practised conversation, presence and the diplomatic register.

Is the hotel confirmed?

The Founding Class will be hosted at a five-star hotel in Manhattan. It is announced to admitted families before their payment is due, and publicly afterwards. Every Fellow stays under the same roof for the three nights.

What happens if my child cannot attend after paying?

A full refund within fourteen days of payment, then a schedule that runs down as the induction approaches, with documented medical, bereavement and visa cases treated separately. It is all in the terms, and it is short.

What is the Global Sixty after the four days?

A membership for life. A number, a signature in the Register, the right to nominate one candidate a year, a mentor call three months later, and an invitation to the annual dinner every year, in a new city each time. Year one is a table. In ten years it is a room your child can walk into that almost nobody else can.
